About Emma
Founded in 2013 by Manuel Müller and Dennis Schmoltzi, Emma is a UK-based mattress and sleep products brand. Emma makes two bed-in-a-box mattress models, which can be found on their website and from retailers such as Walmart and Amazon.
In addition to selling mattresses and other sleep products, the company also launched the Emma Accelerator with the goal of providing up to €250,000 ($253,413.75) in financing to those looking to enter the sleep space with innovative ideas.
Emma Mattress Options and Prices
There are two Emma mattresses for interested parties to consider; the Emma Original mattress and the Emma Original Hybrid mattress. Both are 12 inches in height and relatively affordable, positioning themselves as budget-conscious mattresses that won’t sacrifice quality.
The Emma Original Mattress
Costing $745 for a queen-sized mattress, the Emma Original appears to provide quality motion isolation. Featuring a combination of a breathable cover, graphite-infused comfort layer, graphite-infused memory foam, a zoned halo memory foam specifically built for spinal alignment and extra support, high resiliency extra (HRX) foam for resiliency and a reinforced perimeter, Emma recommends the Emma Original for all sleeping positions, couples and those who love a pillow-top feel. The mattress is available in twin, twin XL, full, queen, king and California king sizes.
Emma Original Hybrid Mattress
Coming in at $995 for a queen, the Original Hybrid features several of the same materials that make up the Original. However, what makes the Original Hybrid different is its eight-inch section of individually wrapped coil springs. According to Emma, this mattress is a good pick for all sleeping positions, those who want a cushioned mattress with a bit of bounce and anyone who experiences back pain or sore muscles. The mattress is available in twin, twin XL, full, queen, king and California king sizes.
Apps and Accessories
In addition to mattresses, Emma also sells bamboo, Egyptian cotton and 100% cotton sheet sets, two adjustable bases, a wooden platform bed and a mattress protector. Both the Emma Mattress Protector and 100% Cotton Sheet Set are currently on sale.
Warranties and Discounts
Emma mattresses come with a 10-year guaranteed warranty. Emma currently offers a 365-night trial for its mattresses, pillows and mattress protector, however, orders made prior to June 3, 2022 only have a 100-night trial.
